Higher Flow. Thanks to E3D’s unique high-flow internal geometry that increases surface area for better heat transfer, these nozzles significantly boost your setup's volumetric flow rate, allowing you to print faster!
Abrasion Resistance. With wear resistance far superior to any generic hardened steel nozzle, ObXidian is exceptionally hard, making it ideal for printing abrasive or filled polymers. This is accomplished by combining a tool steel insert with E3D’s custom E3DLC™ coating. This specially formulated coating also provides non-stick properties, significantly reducing plastic build-up around the nozzle
Drop-in upgrades. These nozzles maintain the exact same form factor as standard Prusa Nozzles; this means there is no need to adjust your pre-existing mount and fan duct setups.
Quick Nozzle Changing. Changing a nozzle on your Prusa printer has never been easier! Waste less time changing your nozzles and more time experimenting with different sizes and materials.

 Important 
1) You may need to adjust your Z offset when changing nozzles.
2) ObXidian™ coated nozzles are exceptionally wear resistant. However, improvements in ‘exotic’ engineering filaments mean that some new materials which include aggressive fillers, including but not limited to Polymaker’s PolyMide and Fiberon range (PA612-CF, PA6-CF, PA6-GF, PA12-CF etc)can cause significant wear on even ObXidian nozzles. E3D is actively developing even more specialist solutions for these materials. In the meantime, E3D states: "please be aware that even the rainbows and unicorns in your ObXidian nozzle are not everlasting under extreme material conditions." :)
3) Some filled materials contain particles that are close to, if not larger than, some of the smaller industry standard nozzle sizes, including up to 0.4mm. Attempting to print such materials through these nozzle sizes significantly increases the risk a jam. Please check your filament manufacturer’s datasheet for recommended minimum nozzle orifice diameter to ensure that the nozzle/hotend you choose is suitable for your use case.
