What is the "Genuine Part Badge"?
We have created a Genuine Part badge for our product pages. These badges indicate the item is a genuine product from the original 3D printer manufacturer (see examples below).
Please Note: This is a work in progress, so not all the genuine parts will have this badge. Flashforge parts are a good example, almost all of our Flashforge parts are genuine parts directly from Flashforge. However, I have not yet updated the product pages to have the badge. In the meantime, check the product title, where we put the name of the manufacturer.
Currently, the following brand parts are badged:
- Flashforge (in progress)
- Micro Swiss (in progress)
- Slice Engineering (in progress)
- MakerGear (in progress)
Example: The below badge indicates the part comes directly from Prusa Research in the Czech Republic.
We also use the new badge shown below (where "genuine part" is below the company logo). Both badges indicate the same thing. :)
The "Genuine Part" badges only apply to partsbuilt.com. The badges are created by us for use on partsbuilt.com only. If you see these badges on other websites, it is not authorized by us nor is it an indication by us that the product is genuine.
