This is the aluminum plate that holds the hotend
Comes with an upgraded (12.9 grade) M3 socket head cap screw used to secure the hotend to the aluminum mounting plate.
Use caution when installing, over-tightening will cause stripping of the threads in the aluminum mounting plate.
