PolyDissolve™ S1 is a PVA based water dissolvable support for TPU and PVB based filaments. It is specifically engineered to have a perfect interface with these materials while also displaying good solubility.

Works with:
PVB
TPU
Also works with some PLA, but may have adhesion issues.

How long does it take to dissolve?
It can take 6-12hours to fully dissolve depending on your setup.
You can speed up the process:
- By increasing the water temperature
- By changing the water regularly
- By adding a pump to make the water flowing

Print Settings

These settings are recommended by Polymaker and are meant as a starting point to help find your optimal print settings. They should work for most 3D printers; however, you may need to experiment outside these ranges.

Printing Temperature: 215˚C - 225˚C
Bed Temperature: 25˚C - 60˚C
Printing Speed: 30mm/s - 40mm/s
Fan: ON

Direct Drive:
Retraction Distance: 1mm
Retraction Speed: 20mm/s
Indirect Drive:
Retraction Distance: 3mm
Retraction Speed: 40mm/s

Drying Settings: 80˚C for 12h
(Only if the material has absorbed moisture)

PolyDissolve™ S1 is very hygroscopic, please make sure to use a dry box.
